Mini-SAREX at FNL Dec 13 2003
Thanks to Cpt Diane Rutter-Wassom and
many others, this unfunded mini-SAREX went off flawlessly, in spite of the
grounding of Colorado Wing. Much was accomplished including:
-
New Scanner 101T familiarization
training
-
New and mostly-trained Flight Line
trainees completed both familiarization training and actual practice (with
private a/c), resulting in some new Flight Line qualified people.
-
New Urban DF 101T familiarization
training, including some beacon work with LPers. C/Col Niswender put
on some great training!
-
Current Scanner and Observer and
Mission Pilot trainees went through planning a grid search in flatlands and
mountains including planning how to find the grid using pilotage and deduced
reckoning and topography. 104's were filled out and discussed,
including what to fill out on the debrief and why.
Thanks to all who participated,
trained, got training, and helped set up this training day.
After Action Report coming soon!
