Comment from Vic Hauser, one of the Incident Commanders tracking our Civil Air Patrol Volunteers:
Towards the end of the day, Don Bessee took his team of cadets through town to see the damage the tornado caused. It was there they saw a damaged house with part of the roof missing where on one wall was a large painted sign saying "Thank God for the volunteers". I mentioned this to Bruce who went out with some cadets later and a cadet took the attached photo with a cell phone camera. It does give meaning to the efforts put in by so many to help people they don't even know.
