bet I don't have to tell you what this is! These pictures are from the
first night we were there, after our train ride, which was really really awful.

you can see the other side of the arch and where it is in relation to the
colosseum. You can't see it from here, but not a single statue on that
arch still had it's head. It was kinda scary...
There's
a lot of these random abandoned pillars everywhere. They're about all
that's left of 99% of the buildings in the Forum.

in the Palatino. The Palatino is on the hill above the Forum.
Um,
as you might remember from the Milan pics, I'm obsessed with taking pictures of
statues...this caused a lot of trouble for me in Rome...I nearly had a breakdown
at the vatican.
