The Orana Wildlife Park is just a few kilometres from the Antarctic Centre.	The park is growing.	Very cute poster.	Porcupine hiding in the dark behind a rock.	Zebras! "Chapman's Zebras"

	Little elephant statue in the kids playground	For George. We didn't see any kiwi birds inside, they were probably sleeping.	Da King.	Couple lionesses in the next enclosure	Mostly snoozing.

	In the next enclosure. In the far back, note the gates in the fence.	The lioness and her 3 babies know something is coming.	An metal enclosed vehicle drives in and the lion jumps on top.	That is the "Lion Encounter". I don't want to get _that_ close!	The lions have learned that when the vehicle enters is when they get fed.

	There's another bunch of people outside on the left, watching as the handlers are about to feed the lions.	We wanted to go feed the giraffe's in a few minutes, so we moved on, past the llamas...	Past the "Sable Antelope"	good info	More ducks!

	The far one is a duck. We don't know what the near one, with the white head is.	The near one is totally submerged - not like a duck that only puts his head under.	past the zebras again	giraffes!	Lots of them. Not yet feeding time so they're eating from what looks like hay nets on a pole.

	Swans... Wandering, we were waiting for giraffe feeding time	Almost there, the gate is opening. This lady was very nice and told us lots of cool stuff about giraffes.	One of the babies comes over to investigate.	Mom knows food is coming - she sticks her whole head over.

			People start feeding her.	My (Sue's) hand feeding a giraffe. What fun!	The leaves are stripped off mine so the baby one goes for the guy next to me.

	They only strip off the leaves and don't eat the stalk.	They grab it with their tongue.	Another baby comes over to get fed.	Fran feeds the mom. Hurrah!	Back of Sue's head as she feeds the mom too.

	Fun!	Big tongue curling around the leaves to yank them off.	Fran again.	big tongue!	We got to pet her neck too
