Ray and I install weather cameras at the Meadowlake Airport. I spent a lot of time up in the air today either climbing the tower or operating the boom lift. The view from my office today was excellent!
It was a good day for task. Cooler than has been typical. But just the same I neglected sunscreen on the back of my neck and I got very sunburned there today. But other than that it was quite a successful day getting equipment installed.
I flew my N7390K in for the day to avoid the drive. | Ray had a quite organized job site. | This is my office for the day. | Not a bad office for the day. | I spent a lot of time on the tower. |
The lift wasn't as solid to work from as the tower. | Some areas were hard to maneuver the boom into position. | My attempt at art. | Getting the base wiring connected. | Cameras and antennas now in place. |
Equipment in the enclosure. | Networking is up! | Debugging a camera problem. | Failed lightning arrester with shorted connections. | Five cameras and one network antenna. |
Another angle. |
