Before the show we had dinner at the Phare Cafe
The usual stir-fried veggies and rice. Can you tell we like veggies? :-)
selfie at Phare Circus
About 20 minutes before show start. Lots of empty seats still, but show is sold out. Phare is like a 16-year old version of Cirque du Soliel.
Worker is handing out gift to the $ "A" seats.
Seats are filling up now.
Getting packed.
We have great seats in the top row of B tickets, show center.
twirling staff of fire during the show. No flash allowed so really can't take pictures during the show.
After the show, everyone is invited on stage for photos with the performers.
"the performers speak excellent Khmer (Cambodian" :-) But being trained in arts & theater, they can communicate very well with gestures.
Performer lifts a kid from the audience to his shoulders.
Kid is not afraid at all, awesome!
After the show, we take a tuk-tuk to the night market (there are several, all just a block from each other). This street cart sign - English goodly spoken.
At the Kuriosity Kafe, a Predator.
And an Alien!
"Tourist Police". This is Pub Street which is like Spring Break in Miami, major party area.
Pancake from street vendor.
Dough tossed very thin, fried on hot plate with sliced banana, add nutella and fold into a tube. Yummy!
Bob's had this lady's pancakes several times :-)
Lizard (sorry blurry, they run so fast it's hard to catch them in a close-up.
Jackfruit - the knobby fruit on the left, and on the right sliced up. Same as what we had in Malaysia. A bit pungent but tasty.
